kick my boots off

I have these awesome black cowgirl boots I got from America. Absolutely love them, however after wearing all weekend to different gigs, we got to our last one and I just wanted to kick them off. A co-write with my drummer at the time Carl Chapman

kick my boots off - Music SL Miller/Lyrics SL Miller & CR Chapman

Chorus

All I wanna do is kick my boots off,

Travelling round the world with my guitar

And all I wanna do is kick my boots off

Because this country girl has gone too far

Verse 1

I’ve been around the world, sung to everybody

Gone to rodeo’s so I could play

A little ole girl from ole New Zealand

But I think these boots have finally had their day

These boots they’re made of the finest leather

Any cowgirl would be real proud

My feet are tired now from all this travelling

I can’t walk no more on this ground

Chorus

All I wanna do is kick my boots off,

Travelling round the world with my guitar

And all I wanna do is kick my boots off

Because this country girl has gone too far

Verse 2

The places these boots and I have been to

I’ve met some cowboys along the way

But it’s time to settle down and put my feet on the ground

Hang them up for a rainy day

I need to take them off and put my feet up

I’ve sung love songs to everyone else

Now it’s my time for fun, the day has finally come

I want to have this time to myself

Chorus

All I wanna do is kick my boots off,

Travelling round the world with my guitar

And all I wanna do is kick my boots off

Because this country girl has gone too far

Yee haw…

Chorus

All I wanna do is kick my boots off

Travelling round the world with my guitar

And all I wanna do is kick my boots off

Because this country girl has gone too far

And all I wanna to do is kick my boots off

Just travelling round the world with my guitar

And all I wanna to do is kick my boots off

Because this country girl has gone too far

Because this country girl, because this country girl,

because this country girl has gone too far…..Yee haww
